washi tape packaging

Here are some of my latest brown paper bag + washi tape packaging attempts:

spoonfull zaka and cafe

I visited my piece of heaven in Bangkok just a few days ago: Spoonful Zakka and Cafe.

The shoppe is small but packed full of Japanese washi tape (paper masking tape), ceramic tea cups and tea pots, handmade fabric bags and purses, and other little bits of kawaii (cuteness).

Within this little red-doored paradise (2nd floor, The Portico, Soi Lang Suan/ BTS Chidlom) is a little corner called Tbs. Cafe with fresh scones and various teas, coffee drinks, and shakes. I sat down with a pot of Baked Apple tea and some chocolate chip scones and enjoyed a little view onto some one's pool. It was just a charming escape from busy Bangkok.

The Thai owner was there when I checked out (after spending 2 hours in the cute little space) and I just oozed over how much I love her store and the style and she in turn oozed over how much she loves this style and how excited she was to open her store.

I ended up leaving with a bag of washi tape and a ton of inspiration.
